Group History

Beginning in 1995, some of the most talented singers in Baltimore began to sing together. For many years, Baltimore had enjoyed choral music presented by large ensembles and very small ensembles. However, an excellent choir of 20 to 30 singers did not exist in the area. This group of people hoped to address that deficit. In 2003 they formalized their relationship and became the Herb Dimmock Singers.

Today the Herb Dimmock Singers number 26 superb vocalists. The ensemble sings music of many styles with great skill and polish.
